The coffee giant is expanding its UK supermarket offering with two chilled beverages debuting throughout August.
Starbucks has added Matcha Latte and Strawberry Matcha Latte to its portfolio of ready-to-drink products.
Each beverage carries a suggested retail price of £2, though individual stores may charge differently.
The Matcha Latte combines dairy with matcha powder, while the Strawberry Matcha Latte incorporates fruit flavours for a different taste profile.
Both beverages feature permanent status within the Starbucks chilled coffee selection rather than being time-limited offerings.
The Matcha Latte arrives in green-coloured packaging, whereas the Strawberry Matcha Latte displays a pink and green colour scheme.
Starbucks senior figure Nik Dhodi verified that the new line has rolled out across multiple European, Middle Eastern and African countries.
Sharing the announcement on LinkedIn, he noted that matcha is experiencing growing popularity for valid reasons.
He explained that shoppers are seeking fresh routines, sustained energy and appealing flavours.
He added that the company was delighted to introduce the new Starbucks RTD Matcha Latte and Strawberry Matcha Latte products across several EMEA regions.
The release comes after Starbucks brought its ready-to-drink Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino to UK shelves for the initial time.
This seasonal bestseller, costing £2.20, is currently stocked at Sainsbury’s stores.
