Two people are facing drug-related charges after officers carried out a search operation.

Arron Whatley, aged 35, and Kyah Morgan, aged 20, were taken into custody following a search at a property in the Alway district on Tuesday 18 August. Both suspects reside in The Redlands, Newport.

Authorities discovered a quantity of class B substances, together with money and mobile devices during the operation.

The duo has been accused of involvement in distributing crack cocaine, keeping class A cocaine, and holding class B amphetamine.

They additionally stand accused of having class B cannabis with the intention of distributing it and participating in the distribution of class B cannabis.

Whatley also faces an accusation of obtaining, employing, or holding proceeds of crime, while Morgan has been accused of attempting to commit the same offence.
