The AA reports that eastbound travel on the M4 between junction 28 at Tredegar Park and junction 26 at Malpas Road is delayed by three minutes and the delay is growing. Typical speeds are around 20 miles per hour.

Eastbound traffic on the M4 heading into the Brynglas Tunnel is heavy but flowing before junction 26 at Malpas Road.

There is queuing on the M4 Brynglas Tunnels westbound before junction 26 at Malpas Road. The estimated journey time is ten minutes.

A broken-down vehicle is blocking lane one on the eastbound slip road at junction 27 at High Cross. Traffic in the area is congested.

There is queuing at Allt-yr-yn heading eastbound.
