The local authority in Monmouthshire is looking at buying a piece of ground in the Llanthony Valley area.

Members of the cabinet will gather on March 30 to discuss acquiring the property.

The session, which begins at 4.30pm in Usk, will examine whether to give the chief officer responsible for resources the power to finalise and exchange contracts, working alongside the cabinet member who handles resources matters.

The tract of land spans 1.5 acres and sits on Neuadd Straight, along Llanthony Valley Road. The acquisition is intended to secure ongoing access for people living and working in the vicinity.
