Pembrokeshire’s newest culinary and beverage venue opened its doors this morning, drawing its first customers to a prime location just moments from Tenby’s South Beach.

The Lansio Lounge occupies the premises formerly run by Salty’s Beach Bar and Grill, marking the latest expansion for the West Country-based café-bar group Loungers.

The name Lansio, derived from the Welsh word for launch, pays tribute to the venue’s prominent coastal setting. The establishment can accommodate approximately 300 guests across its interior and terrace areas.

More than 30 tables are available inside. Those familiar with other Loungers venues will recognise the characteristic vibrant yet welcoming aesthetic. The refitted space showcases richly designed wall coverings, colourful floor tiles, exposed timber flooring, generous vintage-style seating, and a varied collection of artwork. Statement wall fixtures and hanging lamps create intimate alcoves and refined dining spaces throughout the venue.

Jack Adams, aged 29, serves as general manager, having previously overseen operations at Salty’s. The team expressed great enthusiasm about finally opening and welcoming visitors to experience their offering.

Tenby boasts a lively and colourful atmosphere, and the operators are delighted to become part of its thriving food and drink landscape. They believe their quality cuisine, excellent beverages and outstanding hospitality will prove popular.

The venue operates from 9am to 11.30pm on weekdays and from 9am to midnight at weekends. Its diverse and inventive all-day menu ensures guests can enjoy tapas for breakfast or a traditional fry-up alongside an evening cocktail without disappointment.
