Welcome to our live coverage this morning.
Queues are forming on the M4 network as peak travel time approaches.
Travel time on the eastbound carriageway between junctions 27 and 23A is currently estimated at 11 minutes and is continuing to rise, while congestion is also building near the Coldra interchange for those joining the M4 eastbound.
Motorists should plan for extra journey time when using the M4 today.
Further updates will follow as the morning progresses.
A five-minute backlog has now been recorded at the J24 Coldra area.
Significant congestion is also affecting the northbound A4232 at Culverhouse Cross, potentially impacting travel between Cardiff and Newport.
Most of the heavy traffic has now dissipated, though some minor delays persist around the Coldra roundabout.
The morning rush hour hold-ups have cleared across the M4 corridor, so we will be concluding our live updates.
Thank you for following our coverage.
