A SUMMARY of recent matters dealt with by magistrates has been published.

Estelle Oliver, aged 22 and residing in Laburnum Drive, Newport, was ordered to pay a total of £704.17 comprising a financial penalty, associated costs and unpaid duty for maintaining a car without current licensing.

Zak Moore, 23 years old and from Ochrwyth in Risca, received a fine, costs and additional charge totalling £176 after admitting to excessive speed in an area with a 70mph limit. Three penalty points were added to his licence.

Daniel Enos, 30, of Molten Court, Newport was handed a financial penalty, costs and back duty amounting to £972.50 for operating or keeping a motor vehicle following non-compliance with an off-road notification.

Daryl Stinchcombe, 36 and living in Fairfield Close, Talywain, Pontypool, was fined a total of £1,044 including costs and a surcharge for driving a car on a highway or public area without valid insurance. Six penalty points were recorded against his driving history.

Andrew Wyatt, aged 35 from Woodbine Road in Blackwood, was ordered to pay £100 after acknowledging a breach of community order conditions.

Kevin Jones, 43 and resident of Clarence Street, Brynmawr, received a fine of £440 along with £85 in costs and £78.75 in unpaid duty for operating a vehicle lacking proper licensing.

Luke Martin Ruiz, 30, of Tredegar Street, Risca Newport must pay £1,014 encompassing a financial penalty, costs and a surcharge for refusing to provide identifying details of a vehicle’s driver or rider when requested. Six penalty points were applied to his licence.

Wayne Jones, aged 62 and from Fairview Avenue in Ty Sign, Risca, was ordered to pay £319 including a fine, costs and surcharge after admitting failure to obey red, green arrow or lane closure traffic signals. His driving record was endorsed with three penalty points.

Shaun Barclay, 38, of Risca Road, Cross Keys, Caerphilly must pay £428 in a financial penalty, costs and a surcharge for operating a motor vehicle on a road without a valid test certificate.
