The family of a 16-year-old youth who lost his life in a traffic collision in south Wales have described him as a shining example of happiness and kindness.

The teenager, named Miracle Oladoyinbo, was on a bicycle when it struck a SsangYong Tivoli on Penarth Road in Grangetown at 12.27pm on March 25.

The family issued their tribute through South Wales Police, describing Miracle Oladoyinbo as a beacon of joy and compassion, a 16-year-old whose life was defined by a profound love for God and an unwavering commitment to his faith.

They said he was a gifted musician who did not just play music, but used his talents as a ministry to uplift spirits and bring comfort to everyone around him.

According to the family, to know Miracle was to be touched by his warmth and inspired by his grace.

They noted that while his life was tragically cut short, the melody of his kind heart and the strength of his testimony would resonate forever in the hearts of the family and community who loved him so dearly.

Traffic officers are still looking into what happened and are asking anyone who saw the crash to get in touch.

The investigation continues.
