The Hollywood Bowl Group is launching its inaugural XL entertainment complex in south Wales, with the venue set to open in Cardiff following a substantial multi-million-pound investment and described as the company’s biggest multi-entertainment facility so far.
Situated within St David’s shopping complex, the 45,000 square foot complex occupies two levels and includes 20 contemporary ten-pin bowling lanes featuring cutting-edge scoring systems, electronic darts, an extensive arcade area, and Hollywood Bowl’s inaugural electric go-karting track.
Stephen Burns, chief executive of the Hollywood Bowl Group, stated that the company is delighted to confirm the launch of its Hollywood Bowl XL location at the well-established St David’s shopping centre in central Cardiff.
He explained that this represents a significant milestone in the company’s strategy for growth and development throughout the United Kingdom.
He noted that Cardiff boasts a vibrant leisure sector, and the team is eager to establish a second venue in the city.
The facility offers an array of recreational options spanning ten-pin bowling, electronic darts and electric karting, generating additional local job opportunities alongside enjoyable and reasonably priced experiences for families.
To mark the occasion, Hollywood Bowl XL Cardiff will hold a launch celebration on July 25 and 26, featuring complimentary entertainment including face painting and balloon modelling.
Visitors can also take advantage of a package offering two games plus a beverage for £10 per person, together with a further 20 per cent reduction on all celebration bookings.
