Gwent Officers have launched a public appeal in a bid to trace 34-year-old Lita Hughes, who vanished from the Chepstow area last Wednesday.

The missing woman was last spotted in the town at approximately 4pm on 15 April. Officers have described her as white, standing roughly 5ft 4in tall, with a slim frame and long dark hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black and white dress with a white top layered over it, black leggings and a bag worn across her body.

Investigators believe she may also have connections to Worcester.

Anyone with any information regarding her current whereabouts, or who may have seen her, is being urged to get in contact with Gwent Police. Members of the public can telephone the force on 101, search for the official website or reach out via social media platforms, quoting reference number 2600115768.

Police are also appealing directly to Lita to make contact so officers can confirm her safety and wellbeing.
