Nationwide members can now deposit cash at more than 3,000 PayPoint branches throughout the United Kingdom.
The move expands payment possibilities outside the building society’s network of 605 branches, offering particular help to those who rely on physical money for everyday banking needs.
Stephen Noakes, the retail director at Nationwide, said the partnership with PayPoint gives customers more ways to handle their money. He described it as a valuable addition to the organisation’s existing branches. He emphasised that the commitment to maintaining a strong high street presence and keeping branches open until 2030 remains unchanged, and that this new arrangement allows the society to reach customers and communities in new, convenient ways.
Account holders may deposit up to £300 daily at participating PayPoint retailers, with account balances refreshed immediately.
Many of these retailers operate from early morning until late evening, seven days a week, providing added flexibility.
The building society has also pledged to preserve its entire branch network until 2030.
This pledge comes as the organisation has become the United Kingdom’s largest single-brand branch network, after substantial cuts to bank branches in recent years.
Members can find their nearest PayPoint site through Nationwide’s website or mobile application.
