Employees at the Superdrug branch in Cwmbran have given customers an early glimpse of their expansive new outlet before it launches next month.

The upcoming shop at Cwmbran Retail Park is scheduled to welcome its first shoppers on Thursday, May 7. The premises, positioned between Halfords and TK Maxx, are currently having the final touches applied as teams get ready for the big day.

This marks the health and beauty retailer’s second location in the town, joining the existing outlet in Gwent Square within the central shopping centre.

The launch forms part of a broader series of new ventures and business launches across the area this year.

A number of retail businesses and beauty salons have either already opened or are preparing to launch, including DT Crystal Creations, USA Nails, and Ooh La La Hair and Beauty, indicating ongoing investment and expansion in the local shopping and leisure sector.

In footage shared by the team, workers expressed excitement about the extensive selection of cosmetics and perfumes that will shortly be on offer to customers.

One team member stated that viewers were welcome to the Cwmbran location, describing it as exciting and inviting people to explore the interior. The worker mentioned they stocked an impressive collection of makeup from brands such as MUA, Max Factor, and Troublemaker, hoping shoppers would appreciate it as much as the staff did.

Additionally, prestigious fragrance names including Mugler, Paco Rabanne, Michael Kors, and Versace have been spotted at the store’s perfume section, complementing the premium range set to be available when the outlet opens.

The workforce said they were eager to see everything in place once the store officially opens to the public.
