A housebuilder has introduced a £6,000 fund to help grassroots initiatives throughout South Wales, including the Gwent area.
Barratt David Wilson Redrow South Wales is seeking submissions from community groups, charities, and local residents.
The funding can be used for diverse purposes, such as environmental school initiatives, sporting clubs, and neighbourhood hubs.
Sian Smith, sales director at Barratt David Wilson Redrow South Wales, explained that the company is delighted to unveil this local giving programme worth £6,000. She noted that the initiative will enable the business to assist additional worthy causes across South Wales and contribute to establishing and sustaining flourishing communities. She mentioned that the company is encouraging local groups, charitable organisations, and volunteers to share precisely what would benefit them, whether that involves art materials for creative sessions, equipment for youth organisations, or greenery for communal gardens. She added that by learning about their particular requirements, the company can provide meaningful assistance that enables them to carry on with their valuable work.
The programme is now accepting entries and will cease accepting applications at midnight on Wednesday, September 30.
