The AA indicates that eastbound travellers on the M4 between junction 28 A48 (Tredegar Park) and junction 26 A4051 (Malpas Road) are currently facing three-minute delays, with the backlog getting longer.

Vehicles are travelling at an average of 20 miles per hour.
