Police appeal after man filmed two 15-year-old girls on train between Gowerton and Swansea

Detectives are appealing for members of the public who may have information after two 15-year-old girls were secretly recorded by a man on board a railway service earlier this month.

The recording took place on 4 August on a train running between Gowerton and Swansea, where the two teenagers were deliberately filmed by a male passenger.

British Transport Police officers believe the individual concerned may also be connected to comparable offences on other parts of the rail network.

Investigators are particularly eager to locate a woman who pursued the suspect and subsequently spoke with the victims.

A British Transport Police representative stated that officers are requesting anyone who observed the occurrence to make contact. On the morning of 4 August, as the train was moving between Gowerton and Swansea, a man on board deliberately filmed two 15-year-old girls. Investigators believe comparable offences involving the same individual have taken place at various locations across the railway system. He is additionally sought in relation to an assault at Chesterfield railway station on 10 April. Detectives wish to speak with several individuals who are thought to have witnessed the events on 4 August, especially a woman who followed the suspect and then spoke with the two girls.
