Chepstow Racecourse is set to deliver entertainment for visitors of all ages this Bank Holiday, featuring endless amusement park attractions and opportunities to interact with Paw Patrol personalities.

The venue will stage its Bank Holiday Family Raceday on Monday, August 31, blending competitive horse racing with an extensive programme of attractions and economical ticket choices.

A spokesperson indicated the event would include meet-and-greet sessions with popular children’s television characters, a performance by a K-pop act, acrobatic stilt performers, skilled football entertainers, children’s craft stations, and a dance floor for young visitors.

Families can also get up close with an actual thoroughbred and experience unlimited fairground attractions throughout the afternoon.

Seven flat races are scheduled to begin at 1.45pm.

The venue allows guests to bring their own provisions and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy at their convenience during the event.

According to a spokesperson, the racecourse aimed to ensure the Bank Holiday remained accessible to all budgets by permitting outside catering.

The venue opens its doors at 11.45am, with the concluding race due to start at 5.10pm.

The venue provides a Family Ticket Package priced at £30, covering admission for two grown-ups and as many as six youngsters.

Individual under-18s are permitted to attend without charge when accompanying a paying adult.

The venue has also introduced a Rainy Day Promise, guaranteeing complimentary admission to another racing event should precipitation fall during the gathering.

The spokesperson explained that despite concerns about British weather patterns, the venue had experience managing such circumstances and was pleased to offer this assurance.
