CCTV captures fly tipper dumping trolley full of waste on Chepstow Road

Surveillance cameras recorded an individual depositing a laden trolley of refuse onto a road in Newport earlier this week.

The illegal dumping incident occurred on Chepstow Road shortly after 2pm on Monday afternoon, August 3.

The footage depicts a man pushing the trolley along Chepstow Road before abandoning it and departing along Harrow Road.

Newport City Council has urged members of the public to get in touch if they recognise the individual shown in the recording. The council stated that the person was filmed unlawfully disposing of a trolley packed with waste on Chepstow Road on Monday afternoon just after 2pm, before abandoning it and heading off along Harrow Road. The authority is requesting that anyone who may be able to identify this individual provides any details that could aid their investigation into this offence.
