Half-Price Zoo Entry For Universal Credit Recipients This May

Published on

A new pricing initiative has been launched at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm near Bristol designed to enable more people to experience wildlife and the outdoors.

The scheme offers reduced entry at ten pounds for adults who claim Universal Credit benefits, with availability limited to online bookings throughout May 2026.

Visitors must buy tickets beforehand through the website and show appropriate documentation proving they qualify when arriving at the venue.

Rhian Gunstone, community engagement manager at the attraction, explained that the team is dedicated to giving everyone the chance to explore the wonders of wildlife and enjoy the wellbeing benefits that come with spending time in nature. The initiative aims to expand accessibility and help more local residents feel welcomed by the venue. The goal is to allow families who would otherwise be unable to visit to share meaningful experiences together.

A maximum of six tickets can be bought per transaction under this offer.

Children under two years old and essential carers will continue to receive free entry as standard.

This scheme reflects the zoo’s wider dedication to accessibility, inclusivity, and community participation.

Larry Bush, director of the establishment, noted that as a charitable entity, maintaining a zoo that remains open and welcoming to all members of the public remains their key priority.
