A 47-year-old woman was discovered behind the wheel of a vehicle at an educational establishment while exceeding the legal alcohol threshold.
Donna Jones entered guilty pleas to possessing 145 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath while operating a Mini Cooper in the parking area of St Cenydd Community School in Caerphilly.
The legal alcohol limit applicable in Wales stands at 35 microgrammes per 100 millilitres of breath.
Proceedings at Newport Magistrates’ Court revealed the incident took place on August 16 the previous year.
Jones additionally acknowledged three additional comparable violations.
On January 14, she was taken into custody for driving under the influence with 82 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath while piloting a Land Rover along St Cenydd Close.
She neglected to supply a sample for examination on October 7, 2025 and February 8.
Jones, residing at St Cenydd Close in Caerphilly, was found guilty of a fifth count of neglecting to appear before Newport Magistrates’ Court on January 6 having been granted bail.
The accused received a 12-month community order.
She must fulfil a 10-day rehabilitation activity requirement and was subjected to a six-month alcohol treatment order.
Jones received a three-year driving prohibition.
