Published on

A vehicle linked to criminal activity has been seized by officers following routine patrols in Ebbw Vale.

The Community Action Team worked together with the Blaenau Gwent Neighbourhood Policing Unit and the Rural Crime Unit to carry out preventative patrols across the Cwm area, during which the motor vehicle was discovered and subsequently removed.

Detectives are presently working to establish who was behind the wheel of the automobile.

A spokesperson for Gwent Police explained that on April 24, officers from the Community Action Team, Blaenau Gwent NPT, and Rural Crime Unit carried out preventative patrols throughout the Cwm region. During these patrols, officers came across a vehicle connected to criminal behaviour. The car has been seized and enquiries are ongoing to identify the driver.

Members of the public with any pertinent information are being asked by Gwent Police to get in touch.
