Five individuals required hospital treatment after a major road incident.
The incident occurred on the B4254 in Gelligaer, Caerphilly county, at approximately 6.25pm on Thursday, April 23.
A red BMW Sport Coupe and a beige Jeep Avenger Summit were involved in the collision.
At the time, the BMW was understood to be heading west towards Nelson while the Jeep was travelling in the opposite direction.
Police officers were present at the scene, alongside the Welsh Ambulance Service, Air Ambulance and the South Wales Fire and Rescue Service.
Three of the five individuals taken to hospital are believed to be in a serious condition.
A spokesperson for Gwent Police reported that officers are seeking witnesses following the road traffic collision on the B4254, Gelligaer, Caerphilly county, at approximately 6.25pm on Thursday, April 23.
