Musical comedy show back on Wales Millennium Centre stage

The popular musical comedy will return to the Wales Millennium Centre for another run.

The theatrical version of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, based on the acclaimed film, is scheduled to appear from April 20 to April 25.

Celebrating three decades of touring, the show follows three friends on a journey across the Australian Outback, defying societal norms while discovering their authentic identities.

Audiences can expect energetic dance routines, stunning costumes, and an iconic selection of disco classics from the 1980s and 1990s, combining humour, heartfelt moments, and spectacular visuals.

Ian Talbot OBE, an Olivier Award nominee, directs the production. The company includes Kevin Clifton, Adèle Anderson, Nick Hayes, and Peter Duncan.

BAFTA-winning costume designer Vicky Gill and her team have crafted more than one hundred garments for this presentation.

Priscilla Queen of the Desert offers more than entertainment; it celebrates individuality, diversity, and the journey of self-acceptance.

The production has earned acclaim across the globe, maintaining its appeal through its genuine exploration of these themes.
