Meteorologists reveal Gwent weekend weather outlook

The meteorological service predicts pleasant, sunny conditions across the region throughout the coming days. Newport, Monmouth, Cwmbran, Ebbw Vale, and Newbridge are all set to enjoy a warm weekend.

For Newport on Friday the 24th of April, conditions will be clear with bright sunshine. Temperatures will begin at 5 degrees before climbing to a high of 20 degrees later in the day. A gentle northerly airflow will dominate, and precipitation probabilities stay below five percent throughout the daytime hours.

Saturday the 25th will bring similar warmth and sunshine, with thermometers reaching 19 degrees in the afternoon. Sunday the 26th is expected to feature more cloud cover, with the possibility of a brief, isolated shower in some areas. The temperature will again peak at 19 degrees. Monday the 27th will feel somewhat cooler, with temperatures not exceeding 17 degrees. There is a slight possibility of rain during the early morning, though the remainder of the day should remain dry.

Monmouth faces a warm and comfortable Friday, with afternoon highs of 20 degrees. Saturday will be another mild, dry day, reaching 19 degrees. Sunday looks set to remain warm with mostly dry conditions, also peaking at 19 degrees. Monday brings slightly lower temperatures, with a maximum of 17 degrees.

In Cwmbran, Friday promises warmth and comfort, with temperatures climbing to 19 degrees in the afternoon. Saturday will be warm and dry, reaching 18 degrees. Sunday will stay warm and largely dry, with temperatures again at 18 degrees. Monday will be somewhat cooler at 17 degrees maximum.

Ebbw Vale will experience warm, pleasant conditions on Friday, with temperatures reaching 17 degrees. Saturday will be another warm, dry day, also peaking at 17 degrees. Sunday will remain warm, though there is a slight chance of rain developing later in the day, with temperatures of 16 degrees expected. Monday will be cooler, with a high of 15 degrees.

Newbridge will see warm, pleasant conditions on Friday, with afternoon temperatures of 19 degrees. Saturday will be warm and dry, reaching 18 degrees. Sunday will stay warm, with a small possibility of rain in the evening, and temperatures peaking at 18 degrees. Monday will be slightly cooler at 17 degrees maximum.

Throughout the region, rainfall probabilities remain low, with the highest likelihood of any precipitation at just ten percent during the early hours of Monday. Breezes will be light to gentle throughout the weekend, creating tranquil and pleasant conditions overall.
