Published on

A finance industry veteran with approximately 25 years of professional experience has been appointed to a senior leadership position.

Audit specialist Laura Farrow has become a partner at MHA’s Cardiff base, which represents the British division of Baker Tilly International.

Mrs Farrow, who holds Chartered Accountant qualifications via the ICAEW, spent 18 years working for MHA’s former member firm Broomfield & Alexander.

She said she looks forward to working alongside the Welsh audit team in her new leadership capacity to sustain the current strong growth while also supporting the progression of their clients and the sectors they operate within.

Her specialist knowledge includes advising small and medium-sized enterprises across numerous sectors such as construction, retail, transport, logistics, technology, hospitality, manufacturing, and engineering.

She also possesses considerable experience in supporting the British operations of international companies.

James Dobson, a partner at MHA, noted that the firm has seen impressive growth across Wales recently. He emphasised that to continue this positive momentum and provide clients with the best possible service, developing leadership capabilities within their Welsh offices must remain a priority. Making Laura a partner forms a crucial part of this strategy, strengthening client relationships and supporting the continued expansion of their customer base.

Mrs Farrow becomes part of a growing management team as MHA continues to establish a stronger presence throughout Wales and develop its commercial partnerships in the region.
