Bryn Meadows running events in Caerphilly now fully booked

Published on

Bryn Meadows’ Caerphilly 10K and 2K races have sold out completely for the second year running.

The 10K race, set for Sunday May 10 2026, will see 2,500 competitors take part, while a further 1,200 athletes have registered for the 2K event, illustrating the growing popularity of the occasion across the region.

This year’s 10K route has been completely overhauled following input from past competitors.

The revised course incorporates reduced elevation gain and is designed to be quicker and more inclusive, whilst retaining its start and finish location in the town centre along Crescent Road.

The 2K option provides a chance for young people and families to get involved.

A number of streets in Caerphilly town centre and surrounding communities will be shut temporarily.

These restrictions will take effect during the morning of Sunday May 10 to facilitate the safe staging of the event. Local residents and those visiting the area should plan for extended journey times and make arrangements in advance.

A full itinerary of the course can be found on the official website.

Detailed competitor resources, including course layouts and key event information, are accessible via the Participant Information Guide.
