Another venue in Newport has been forced to close temporarily after criminals struck.

The Neon suffered a break-in during the early hours of Sunday, April 19.

Police report that offenders escaped with goods and a range of equipment.

In a post on social media, Exposure Wrestling Entertainment stated that unfortunately the location would be unable to welcome visitors that day due to the overnight intrusion in which merchandise and equipment were stolen.

Officers attended the scene, and investigators believe The Neon is one of a number of businesses that experienced criminal activity over recent days.

Staff anticipate reopening their doors to the public by the following week.

Other establishments in Newport, including Newport Arcade and Barcode, were also hit by thieves during this timeframe.
