Council warns of A-road disruption coming

Published on

Night-time maintenance is set to affect traffic on a major trunk route.

Works will be carried out on the A40 along the stretch from Abergavenny to the Abergavenny Station Hotel in both directions, and between the Raglan Roundabout and Hardwick Gyratory systems heading westbound during the coming week.

The closures are scheduled to run from 7pm on 23 April until 6am on 24 April, followed by another closure from 8pm on 24 April through to 6am on 25 April.

A local diversion route will be operational throughout the works, and motorists are asked to bear with the temporary inconvenience.
