South Wales homeopath helps women balance hormones

Published on

A specialist operating in South Wales is applying homeopathic techniques to support women experiencing complex hormone-associated medical conditions.

Holly Newton employs homeopathic preparations to tackle premenstrual syndrome, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, and related manifestations through customized therapeutic strategies.

Having encountered hormonal challenges herself, she has observed the relief that homeopathy can deliver and now focuses her efforts on aiding other women.

Bothered by how hormonal changes were affecting her everyday routine, and having benefited personally, she intends to assist many women in finding satisfaction across both private and work domains.

Since launching her clinic in 2021, clients have shown positive responses, and she launched an investigation to determine whether homeopathy might reduce symptoms of premenstrual dysphoric disorder.

In September 2025, she gathered volunteers for a five-month observational study, with subjects obtaining homeopathic treatments at approximately five-week intervals.

Seven individuals tracked as many as six symptoms apiece using the MYMOP evaluation tool.

After receiving their first prescription, every participant observed enhancements in at least two symptoms.

Once the study concluded, six out of seven participants reported improved general health.

The research involved a small group size, and certain individuals encountered fluctuations in their symptoms.

Despite this, every participant described positive changes, including reduced irritability, anxiety, exhaustion, and bodily aches.

Several participants described the process as transformative.

One participant described the experience as having completely transformed their existence, noting they feel more vital, joyful, confident, and that their connections with others and themselves have grown considerably.

Another participant described it as an absolute life transformation.

Ms Newton grew up with homeopathic treatments available and decided to pursue this profession after discovering their benefits during her own hormonal difficulties following childbirth.

Homeopathy stands as the second-largest medical system worldwide and utilizes a comprehensive approach, employing highly diluted substances to activate the body’s natural healing responses.
