A firm based in Gwmbran has earned a place among the contenders for a distinguished national honour.

EmpowerWise Ltd has been put forward for the Best Community Contribution section of The UK Small Business Awards, recognising its commitment to delivering top-quality services and driving positive transformation within its field.

Suzanne Bailey, who established and leads the company, expressed that the team felt deeply grateful and humbled to receive this nomination. She noted that the organisation was especially pleased to have been selected for this accolade, given the strong standard and volume of entries received during this cycle. She added that this accomplishment reflected the growing reach of their work in helping bodies and communities gain a clearer understanding of, and response to, domestic abuse and sexual violence.

The UK Small Business Awards celebrates success stories from small businesses across the country.

The awards ceremony is set to take place on December 19, 2026, at The Eastside Rooms in Birmingham.

Candidates from across the United Kingdom will gather as the National Top 10 are announced during the live event.

The proceedings will also be streamed online for those unable to attend in person.
