An accounting and taxation advisory business has strengthened its senior management with a fresh appointment.
Kilsby Williams, based in Newport, has appointed Margaret Harrison to the board.
Her role focuses on broadening the range of advisory and compliance solutions available to small and medium-sized businesses that do not require statutory audits. She will work alongside the firm’s partners alongside its business services, taxation, and payroll operations.
Ms Harrison said the firm appealed to her due to its strong regional identity. The company combines professional expertise with business savvy while placing client commitment and service quality at the core of its operations.
These values align with her own professional philosophy, which she has maintained throughout her career.
The firm is noted as an employer that values team member welfare, and she looks forward to joining the team and supporting its ongoing development.
Ms Harrison previously headed the business services division at MHA and brings considerable expertise to her new role.
She will develop and grow the firm’s offerings for clients who do not require audits, ensuring they receive the high-standard service the firm is known for.
Jonathan Harrhy, partner at Kilsby Williams, welcomed the appointment.
Mr Harrhy noted that Margaret has built a reputation as a trusted business adviser through close client relationships and technical proficiency. This aligns perfectly with their customer service philosophy, and they are delighted to have her on board.
Her knowledge and abilities are expected to strengthen their advisory and compliance capabilities for businesses exempt from audit requirements.
Ms Harrison holds chartered accountant status, having qualified through MHA, and has significant experience supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.
