Two people accused of illegal dog breeding and welfare offences

Two individuals face allegations of unlicensed dog breeding and additional animal welfare violations.

Stephen Steed and Laura Price, both 38 years old and residing in Garnlydan, Ebbw Vale, entered pleas of not guilty to a single charge of operating a dog breeding establishment without proper licensing. They also contested six allegations concerning the failure to supply American Bully breed dogs with continuous access to fresh, clean drinking water.

The accusations cover the period from December 1, 2020 through March 20, 2023.

Proceedings have been postponed until May 21 at Newport Magistrates’ Court.

Following their appearance at Cwmbran Magistrates’ Court, both individuals were released on unconditional bail.
