Man sentenced for stadium attack before Wales match

A man aged 55 has confessed to committing an assault at Cardiff City Stadium.

Ryland Price, residing in Heathlands, Ystrad Mynach within the Caerphilly area, entered a guilty plea for unlawfully injuring Aaron Williams.

The offence took place on Monday 13 October the previous year, as stated during the hearing at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.

The court issued a monetary penalty of £2,266 against the defendant.

Price was also ordered to pay his victim £500 in damages.

On that same night, Wales contested Belgium in a World Cup qualifier at the identical location, with the hosts suffering a 4-2 defeat.
