Revealed: Launch date for new Home Bargains superstore

A launch date has been revealed for the fresh Home Bargains outlet in Ebbw Vale.

The £6 million premises on Ffordd Cefn Mawr in Ebbw Vale will commence trading at 8am on Friday, April 3, with customers anticipated to line up early to secure deals and explore the new shopping destination.

As one of Britain’s biggest family-owned retailers, Home Bargains intends to generate 80 employment positions locally.

The fresh Ebbw Vale establishment will join the current James Street branch, expanding Home Bargains’ presence to over 600 stores nationwide.

With approximately 50 new outlets opening annually, the company continues to perform well amid challenging market conditions.

Chris Jones, the incoming store manager, stated that launching the new Home Bargains branch in Ebbw Vale over the Easter holiday period fills him with pride.

This launch has produced numerous employment opportunities for the local community, providing many individuals with fresh career paths.

The team looks forward to introducing new vitality, excellent value, and a better shopping experience to the entire area.

The outlet will provide customers with an assortment of goods, covering homewares, health and beauty items, confectionery, snacks and beverages, alongside chilled and frozen produce.

The premises will additionally house a Home Bargains bakery, café and garden centre.

Chris Jones mentioned that this second Ebbw Vale site will prove excellent for the business, and the team takes pride in being able to provide local residents with leading branded products at remarkably affordable prices.
