Newport Bus has informed us of a collision that is causing delays on certain routes due to traffic build-up.

We will provide you with further information as it becomes available.

Due to a road traffic collision, delays are anticipated on routes 27, 29 and 29A. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The AA reports heavy traffic on the A4042 southbound at B4591 Queensway following an earlier collision.

Traffic remains heavy in the area from the earlier collision.

Traffic is starting to clear, albeit slightly.

Some traffic remains in the area, though this is more likely attributable to peak hour commuting rather than the earlier collision.

Traffic has cleared considerably.
