Rowan Watts, aged 23, from Attlee Way, Cefn Golau, Tredegar received a 12-month community order after being convicted following a trial of common assault that occurred on September 23 the previous year. He was ordered to complete 150 hours of unpaid work and pay £1,264, comprising a fine, costs and compensation.
Jerry Connors, from Cardiff Road, Newport was ordered to pay £440 in fines, £143.75 in back duty and £85 in costs for operating a vehicle without a valid licence.
Rowena Roberts, aged 39, from Alma Street, Abertillery was ordered to pay £428, comprising a fine, costs and surcharge after exceeding the speed limit in a 40mph zone. Three penalty points were added to her driving licence.
Abigail Coombes, aged 49, from Caldicot Court, Hendredenny, Caerphilly was ordered to pay £631, comprising a fine, costs and surcharge after admitting to driving a motor vehicle on a road or public place without insurance. Six penalty points were added to her driving record.
George Selwood, aged 31, from Westfield, Caldicot was ordered to pay £176, comprising a fine, costs and surcharge after admitting to driving a motor vehicle or trailer on a road with a load that was insecure or in a position likely to cause danger.
Lyndon Moon, from Withy Close, Magor, Monmouthshire was ordered to pay £408, comprising a fine, costs and surcharge for keeping a motor vehicle that did not meet insurance requirements.
Jordan Carter-Rogers, aged 29, from Dol Fran, Mornington Meadows, Caerphilly was ordered to pay £505, comprising a fine, costs and surcharge after pleading guilty to possessing 0.23g of cocaine on August 9 the previous year. The court ordered the drugs to be forfeited and destroyed.
Peyton Davis, aged 31, from Mountain View, Markham, near Blackwood was ordered to pay £176, comprising a fine, costs and surcharge after pleading guilty to exceeding the speed limit in a 30mph zone. Three penalty points were added to their driving record.
