Gwent’s pubs and bars are gearing up for a lively weekend with everything from country sounds to fundraising concerts.

No One Knows Takes Over The Upper Cock

A five-piece musical outfit described as outstanding will be delivering renditions across multiple genres at The Upper Cock Inn in Cwmbran. The performers bring more than 16 years of expertise spanning wedding celebrations to festival stages, and they aim to get the crowd moving. The show is scheduled for Saturday March 28, beginning at 8pm.

Country Music Evening with Jax Morgan

Those partial to country rhythms can head to the Waterloo Inn in Nash where Jax Morgan Music will deliver live performances ideal for kicking back and enjoying oneself. The establishment will serve their hearty dirty fries alongside newly introduced flavoured spirits from its own distillery. Attendees can look forward to numerous opportunities for country-style dancing. The event starts at 8pm on Saturday March 28.

Three Bands Unite for Charity at New Tredegar RFC

New Tredegar RFC is hosting a fundraising evening supporting the Wales Air Ambulance service. Three acts – Lost Echoes, Fat Fish Junction, and Moosehead – will share the stage throughout the night, with a raffle and additional entertainment helping to maximise donations. Entry costs £5 per person and tickets can be purchased directly from the club. The benefit night gets underway at 6.30pm on Saturday March 28.

Acoustic Sessions at The Three Tuns in Chepstow

The weekend wraps up with unplugged cover performances at The Three Tuns in Chepstow. This Sunday afternoon gathering provides an ideal opportunity for sing-alongs at a pub that serves traditional real ales and offers vistas of the historic castle. The performance begins at 5pm on Sunday March 29.
