Authorities have confiscated a pair of cars in Blaenau Gwent following community members raising alarms about questionable automobiles nearby.
One motor was located discarded on a roundabout, while the second was found stationary in an equally dilapidated state. Both vehicles were deemed unfit for the road.
Officers stated the occurrence demonstrates how vehicles that fail to meet road safety standards combined with reckless behaviour behind the wheel can endanger those using the roads, especially when paired with speeding or unlawful motoring. They expressed gratitude to local people for flagging their worries and for assisting in ongoing work to maintain neighbourhood safety.
Those with concerns regarding perilous driving or unlawful vehicle positioning in their vicinity have been asked to reach out to officers by dialling 101 or through the constabulary’s online platform so that additional steps may be implemented where suitable.
