Australian-born DJ and producer Sonny Fodera will perform twice at DEPOT Live’s Cardiff Castle venue next summer, with a newly announced headline appearance joining his original concert date.
The additional show is scheduled for Saturday 5 June 2027, following the Friday 4 June performance.
The second date was introduced after strong demand for advance tickets to the initial concert.
According to the promoters, Fodera is the first electronic act to headline consecutive nights at the Cardiff venue.
Existing artist pre-sale customers can obtain tickets for the Saturday performance, while general sales for all remaining tickets begin at 10am on Friday 23 October.
Demand has also been reported for Fodera’s 2027 arena tour.
Dates in Newcastle, Glasgow and Manchester, together with a show at London’s The O2, have already sold out.
A headline performance at On The Beach in Brighton is also planned for next July.
DEPOT Live founder Nick Saunders said the response to the Cardiff Castle announcement had been exceptional.
He welcomed the opportunity to stage two successive performances and described the booking of the first electronic artist to lead two consecutive nights at the Castle as a significant achievement for the venue.
DEPOT Live and Cuffe and Taylor are presenting the 2027 Cardiff Castle series.
Kraftwerk is booked for 23 June, while Jack Savoretti and James Morrison appear on 24 June.
Slash ft Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators are scheduled for 30 June, followed by Ronan Keating with Blue and Germein Sister on 9 July.
Bananarama, Tony Hadley and Altered Images are confirmed for 10 July.
Further announcements are expected.
