Swansea Bonfire Night returns to Singleton Park with magical theme on 5 November 2026

Published on

Singleton Park will host Swansea’s primary Bonfire Night event this November, featuring an extended programme of entertainment beyond the traditional firework display.

The annual celebration, scheduled for Thursday the fifth of November 2026, has relocated to this venue and carries a mythology and enchantment theme throughout the evening’s attractions.

Visitors arriving at the park can anticipate pyrotechnic performances complemented by laser illumination, with live entertainment commencing from half past five in the evening.

Character meet-and-greets form a significant component of the family-oriented programming, with figures including those from Harry Potter, Albus Dumbledore, Tinkerbell, Maleficent, the Wicked Queen, Jafar, Mary Poppins and Mirabel scheduled to appear throughout the grounds.

Additional costumed appearances include representations of characters from Wicked alongside Rumi, illuminated unicorns and a mechanical dragon.

Musical performances, interactive stage shows and street entertainment maintain activity levels throughout the scheduled period.

Fire-dancing specialists greet attendees upon entry and deliver a dedicated display at six forty-five in the evening.

The central pyrotechnic exhibition commences at seven thirty, accompanied by laser projections across the parkland.

The occasion operates between five o’clock in the morning and eight o’clock at night, with gates opening at the initial time and preliminary performances beginning thirty minutes subsequently.

Catering facilities operate throughout the grounds, enabling families to arrive ahead of the principal display and maximise their time at the various attractions.

Pre-purchase pricing offers reduced rates compared with door sales.

Adult admission costs six pounds in advance or seven on arrival.

Concession and child tickets stand at five pounds ahead of time or six on the day.

Passport to Leisure cardholders pay four pounds when booking early or five on the day.

Groups of four persons can attend for thirteen pounds in advance or eighteen at the gate, while a family of five would pay fifteen or twenty pounds respectively.

Advanced booking provides families with savings reaching five pounds against walk-up pricing.

Vehicle parking exists at the Singleton Lacrosse Field and adjacent recreation area, costing five pounds and payable upon arrival.

Attendees should factor adequate time for parking procedures before the commencement of the main firework segment.

Further details regarding tickets and event specifics appear on the Visit Swansea Bay online platform.

The celebration marks a return for the city’s traditional autumn firework occasion, now situated within Singleton Park’s grounds.
