Cardiff audiences are set to experience a major live music event next week as The Rock Orchestra brings its Arena of Fire production to the city.
The show will be staged at Utilita Arena Cardiff on Thursday 22 October 2026, with doors opening at 8pm.
The touring production combines rock and metal tracks performed by a 14-piece classical ensemble.
The production has previously toured North America and continental Europe.
The 90-minute performance incorporates pyrotechnics, fire displays and circus-style entertainment alongside the musical programme.
Reviewers have praised the production for merging orchestral instrumentation with the intensity of rock music.
One audience member described it as an ideal combination of classical ambition and hard rock energy, while another suggested the show was essential viewing for rock enthusiasts.
Following its Welsh premiere, the production will visit Utilita Arena Birmingham on 23 October before heading to the capital.
OVO Arena Wembley in London hosts the show on 25 October, with Brighton Centre staging the final UK date on 30 October.
Return visits to Wales are scheduled for February 2027, with performances planned in Swansea, Wrexham and Rhyl.
