Newport residents seeking the lowest fuel prices have been provided with a list of the ten most affordable petrol stations in the area, according to data from petrolprices.com.
The cheapest unleaded fuel was available at ASDA Pillgwenlly Automat and ASDA Newport, both selling at 158.7p per litre.
Tesco Newport Spytty, Tesco Newport Gwent Extra and Sainsburys Newport followed closely, each offering unleaded at 158.9p.
Further down the list, two separately operated Esso stations at Chepstow Road were found among the cheapest options.
Esso Chepstow Road operated by MFG Newport charged 159.9p for unleaded, while the Esso Chepstow Road operating under the Newport Express brand also offered the same price.
Morrisons Rogerstone matched this rate.
The remaining cheapest stations for unleaded were ASDA Express Newport and Gulf Chepstow Road trading as Hillcroft Garage, both at 161.9p per litre.
For diesel, the cheapest prices were found at ASDA Pillgwenlly Automat and ASDA Newport, both at 176.7p per litre.
Tesco Newport Spytty and Tesco Newport Gwent Extra were next cheapest, each selling diesel at 176.9p.
Sainsburys Newport charged 178.9p for diesel, while Esso Chepstow Road operating as Newport Express and Morrisons Rogerstone both charged 181.9p.
ASDA Express Newport and Gulf Chepstow Road (Hillcroft Garage) both offered diesel at 182.9p, with Esso Chepstow Road operated by MFG Newport at 183.9p completing the top ten cheapest stations for diesel.
