Emma Summers, aged 34 and residing at Prospect Place in New Inn near Pontypool, entered a guilty plea and was told to pay £211.25, which includes a financial penalty, costs and unpaid vehicle duty, for possessing an unregistered vehicle.

A 26-year-old from Lower Salisbury Street in Tredegar was fined £530, which encompasses a financial penalty, costs and a surcharge, after admitting to driving on a public road without valid insurance. His driving licence was marked with six penalty points.

Lee Cankett, who is 33 and lives on Greenwood Road in Abersychan near Pontypool, received a £530 penalty comprising a financial penalty, costs and a surcharge after pleading guilty to exceeding the speed limit in a 20mph area. Four points were added to his driving record.

A man from Playford Crescent in Newport must pay £408, consisting of a financial penalty, costs and a surcharge, for keeping a car without insurance.

Hadrian Williams, from James Street in Tredegar, was ordered to pay £408 including a financial penalty, costs and a surcharge after being found with an uninsured vehicle.

Donna Gateway, from Oakdale Place in Pontnewynydd near Pontypool, was ordered to pay £220 in fines, £88.34 for outstanding vehicle duty and £85 in costs for keeping a vehicle without a valid road fund licence.

Sebastian Irving, aged 18 and from Bridge Street in Ynysddu near Caerphilly, received a 12-month driving ban after pleading guilty to driving with cannabis in his system on the A472 in Ystrad Mynach on December 27. He was also ordered to pay £575 in total, comprising a financial penalty, costs and a surcharge.

Fleur Gilmore, 41, from Waunddu in Pontnewynydd near Pontypool, was ordered to pay £176 including a financial penalty, costs and a surcharge after admitting to exceeding the speed limit in a 40mph zone. Three points were endorsed on her driving record.

Glen Bazzard, 43, from Tawelfan in Nelson near Caerphilly, was banned from driving for 16 months after admitting to drug driving with ketamine in his blood on High Street on October 8. He must pay £365 in total, made up of a financial penalty, costs and a surcharge.
